Haveri: Hindutva firebrand leader and BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal sparked a controversy after he exclaimed that one day JCBs will run in Karnataka. He also said that he will occupy the top post in the state.

Speaking in Haveri on Wednesday, former union minister Yatnal who said that people who are opposing our flag will hoist it themselves soon.

“See how many encounters have been done in Uttar Pradesh. They are shivering there. There used to be a time when people used to fear coming out in the daytime. JCBs will also come to Karnataka. I will come to that chair one day or the other. For people who object to hoisting a flag, I will ensure that they themselves hoist the flag. We will have to do this to save our Sanatana Dharma,” Yatnal said.
