Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pragya Singh Thakur has stated that her comment to “keep the knife for cutting vegetables a little sharp” was misinterpreted. Sadhvi Pragya said that she does not sing songs of love in war and that as a monk, she will guide society and protect women.

The BJP MP threatened legal action against those who ‘misrepresented’ her statement, saying, “I believe some people’s agendas have failed, which is why they are crying. I didn’t name anyone, but I saw the girls who are kidnapped, sold, masculinized, mutilated, and murdered.”

“No one will take the current situation in the country negatively. In terms of the social situation, I have stated that our girls are not safe. Our girls are insecure because of love jihad; the agenda of those who engage in love jihad has failed, and they are suffering as a result ” she stated.
