Siya, a member of the Muslim Youth League in Kerala’s Kannur district, alleged that the Kerala Police threatened him over his Facebook post that reads, “RSS killed Gandhi.”

Siya was called to Muzhakkunnu Police Station on Monday, on the 75th death anniversary of Gandhi, over his social media post, Madhyamam Daily reported. Muslim Youth League is the youth wing of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).

Police said to Siya that he was called to the police station after they received a complaint from a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha worker. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is the youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Police officers also warned the Muslim youth that they would take stringent action against him.

Siya’s Facebook post in Malayalam roughly translates as: “The first terror attack in India was by RSS. RSS assassinated Gandhi.”

“The Circle inspector said to me that not all the truth is to be told, and even if it is true that RSS killed Gandhi, there is no need to tell it,” Siya said, according to Madhyamam Daily.
