A row has erupted in Rajasthan after a BJP leader objected to girl students wearing hijab during a school event. As Muslim girl students protested against the BJP leader’s remark, state Education Minister Madan Dilawar announced that a dress code will soon be implemented in the schools.

Madan Dilawar said that orders for an investigation into the atmosphere at schools across the state will soon be given. He added that no conversions based on religion would be allowed.
