Pravin Togadia, former president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), was handed out an invitation for the ‘pran pratishtha’ or the consecration ceremony of the idol at the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya scheduled on January 22, 2024 on Friday.
This comes two days after Togadia stated that he has not been invited for the event.
In a statement, RSS said that its member Shaileshbhai Patel and VHP Gujarat secretary Ashokbhai Rawal, on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra, invited Togadia to the event.
