A man was allegedly attacked by two people with a broken beer bottle in Gurugram’s Sector-14 area, the police said on Monday. According to the first information report (FIR) filed by the police, the attackers beat the man upon learning he was a Muslim.
The incident took place on August 20 at around 4 pm when the 21-year-old Mohammad Monis, who is a mechanic by profession, went to the toilet near a liquor shop, where the attackers were already present.
