NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Tuesday adjourned till October 25 the hearing in the application filed by various accused persons seeking the status of the investigation in a case pertaining to alleged conspiracy behind the 2020 northeast Delhi riots.
The application was filed by Devangana Kalita, Natasha Narwal, Asif Iqbal Tanha, Meeran Haider and Athar Khan.

Meanwhile, special public prosecutor Amit Prasad told the court that in the application, advocate Mehmood Pracha, the counsel for one of the accused, had levelled personal allegations against him – that he had “taken cash from the police in an underhand manner”. Pracha had claimed in the application that these were the findings of a private investigator.
