Dalit boy thrashed, forced to drink urine in UP village ( India Times )

VARANASI: A teenaged Dalit boy was allegedly assaulted, forced to drink urine, and his eyebrows shaved by at least two men from his village under Sujanganj police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district on Thursday.

Following the directives of Jaunpur SP Ajay Pal Sharma, the boy was sent for a medical examination on Friday and an FIR was lodged against two men on Saturday. The medical tests will also determine if the boy is a minor, said police.

The people accused of the crime filed a counter-case against the boy alleging that he had sexually harassed a girl of their family. Police confirmed that an FIR against the boy had been lodged under section 354 (outraging modesty) of IPC.
