On April 23, two churches located in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh were reportedly targeted by a local right-wing group. Locals say that the group is linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who accused the Christians of converting Hindus by inducing them with money. The incident has sparked concerns among the local community, especially among the Christian minority. The pastors of both churches were reportedly taken into custody by the Uttar Pradesh Police following the incident.
