Video: Another Karnataka school makes students clean toilets, principal suspended (India Today)

In the third such incident this month, students of a school in Karnataka's Shivamogga were made to clean toilets.

Students of a school in Karnataka’s Shivamogga were made to clean toilets, sparking outrage among parents. Students who belong to SC/ST and Dalit communities were chosen to clean the toilets, alleged a Dalit organisation.

In a video, two girl students were seen cleaning the toilets of the school. This is the third incident in Karnataka this month when students were made to clean toilets.

The school’s principal, Shankarappa, was suspended by the Shivamogga Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) after the incident came to light.
