Clashes broke out between two groups in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna after a dispute arose over the route of Hanuman Jayanti procession, which was being led by BJP councillor Omprakash Kushwah, on Saturday. Stones were also thrown during the chaos. However, the situation is under control this morning, with a large police deployment in the area.

In the latest update, police have arrested nine accused, including the main accused Vicky Khan. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.

The incident occurred when many people involved in the procession were crossing a mosque around 8 pm. The DJ music was reportedly played loudly and stopped right outside the mosque, leading to a dispute between those present at the mosque and members of the procession.

Soon after the argument, stone-throwing began from the mosque, escalating the situation. The atmosphere turned tense as both sides started throwing stones at each other.

An exclusive video has emerged from Guna showing disturbing visuals of the attack on the Hanuman Jayanti procession. In the video, a man can be seen waving a sharp-edged weapon from inside a mosque, while people nearby are seen trying to stop him.
