Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad Telangana unit has resolved to expand the operations to villages, tribal areas and hill regions to stop the religious conversions.
During the executive meetings held between Feb 22-24 at Rashtriya Vidya Kendra in Annojiguda, it was resolved to take steps to increase the population in every Hindu family. The leaders explained the issues and dangers that arise if the population decreases. They stressed that every individual should possess Indian and indigenous ideology.
The meeting also resolved to awakening the Hindu community and protecting family values. Parents were advised to be cautious about their children’s upbringing and monitor their habits and behaviour.
They also said efforts towards environmental protection, breaking down caste barriers, and maintaining social harmony would be increased.
Suggestions were provided by VHP all India joint secretary Vinayakrao Deshpande, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Telangana regional pracharak Lingam Sridhar and VHP Telangana state chief B Narasimha Murthy. The three-day state executive meetings were attended by district presidents, secretaries, and senior activists from the state.
Meanwhile, Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh has urged Hindus to refrain from purchasing pooja ritual items for Maha Shivratri from individuals who consume ‘gau maans’ (cow meat).
