Nagpur: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), one of most prominent outfits of the Sangh Parivar, will be carrying out an awareness campaign asking people to vote for the ‘Hindu cause’. Without naming any party, workers of the organization would be holding meetings and contact drives among voters.

The work done for the betterment of Hindus will be highlighted, besides pointing out the groups which the organization thinks can be ‘anti-Hindu’.

Other constituents of the Sangh Parivar too have plans to organise contact drives to ensure 100% voting during the Lok Sabha elections.

VHP organization general secretary Milind Parande told TOI that the outfit’s objective is that the policy makers at the helm should be those who give priority to the Hindu cause. Rather, the VHP feels that protecting Hindu interests is in the overall interest of the nation.
