CHENNAI: MDMK leader Vaiko on Monday urged Tamil Nadu people to shun Hindutva forces who, he alleged, were trying to take away the rights of Tamils.
In a statement, Vaiko recalled how various leaders struggled to carve out Tamil Nadu on linguistic lines. The state was born on November 1, 1956 after much struggle.
