While campaigning for municipal elections in his state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami fear mongered about alleged demographic changes and targeted religious conversions. He spread the conspiracies of ‘land jihad,’ ‘love jihad,’ and ‘spit jihad.’ Dhami also made a communal remark, stating, “Do you want Ram Mandir builders (BJP) or Congress, which called our Ram Mandir the Babri Masjid, reflecting a Mughlai mindset?”
