UP horror! 16-year-old Dalit girl dragged to terrace, pushed off building after failed rape bid

Two youths in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly pushed a 16-year-old Dalit girl off the terrace of a building after a failed rape bid.

Pilibhit: A 16-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly subjected to casteism and sexual assault by two youths in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The girl was allegedly pushed off the terrace of a building when the teenager’s father reached the spot and saw the accused.

The 16-year-old girl was allegedly dragged to the terrace of a building located in her neighbourhood after being abducted and was pushed off the terrace.

Daughter abducted by the two accused 

The Dalit girl suffered several fractures along with internal injuries. The two accused were identified as Arvind and Mahendra. The father of the teenager alleged that on the day of the incident, he noticed that his daughter was missing.

Following this, the teenager’s father started looking for her in the locality, The Times of India reported. He stumbled upon the phone of one of the accused who lives in the area. The man then went to the 21-year-old youth’s house and asked about him.

Accused abused teen’s father, hurled casteist remarks at him 

The man reached the spot before the accused could rape the teenager. The accused duo allegedly abused the teenager’s father and hurled casteist remarks at him. Following this, they threw the teenager off the terrace.

When the teen girl regained consciousness, she narrated her plight to her father and alleged that the accused made an attempt to outrage her modesty. After learning about the incident, the man approached the cops and lodged a complaint.
