Speaking to the media, a BJP MLA from Amritpur in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh, Sushil Kumar Shakya has claimed that the BJP plans to bring UCC after the Waqf Bill.
Shakya’s remarks come amid the celebrations of BJP’s 46th Foundation Day. He said that the BJP is determined to fulfill the goals for which it was founded. He asserted that the party is all set to present the Uniform Civil Code after the passage of the controversial Waqf Bill.
He praised the party and underlined its development since its establishment in 1980. He mentioned, “BJP never deviated from its mission be it with the construction of Ram temple, the abrogation of Article 370 or the amendment of Waqf Bill. The UCC will come soon too.”
He then highlighted the BJP’s dedication to its core objectives and principles. He said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the party won for three consecutive terms.
Shakya also mentioned that the BJP workers work dedicatedly to achieve the goals of the party and elevate the country’s position nationally and globally.
At the event, several BJP leaders were also present to mark the Foundation Day by hoisting the party’s flag. The party workers were praised and sweets were distributed.
