Similarly, the locals have not registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the three accused.

This is the third incident reported in a week in Rajasthan. The first was when seven people were arrested on charges of torturing two Dalit men for allegedly stealing money and stealing money in Barmer.

While the second incident was reported when a group of men thrashed the two youths in Nagaur. They later allegedly dipped a piece of cloth wrapped on a screwdriver in petrol and inserted it in the private parts of one of them.

According to reports, the victim said, “I would not have reported the incident to the police if the video had not gone viral. The Rajput men threatened me with dire consequences if I told anyone.”
