Addressing a public meeting in Maharashtra on Sunday, Hyderabad BJP MLA T Raja Singh has said that the dream of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ can be achieved if Hindus become united. The MLA who represents the Godhamahal constituency in the Telangana capital, said India would become a Hindu Rashtra by 2023.

“India needs thoughts of Chhatrapati Shivaji for becoming a Hindu Rashtra,” he said.

Demanding the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and nationwide National Register of Citizens (NRC) to weed out illegal infiltrators, he also said that Hindus must be given training in operating arms for ‘self defence’.

This is not the first time that he has propounded the idea of a Hindu Rashtra. In an earlier interview in December 2019 too, he had put forth the same idea.

In November 2019, speaking at a Ram Navami event he said that whoever would come in the middle of the making of a Hindu Rashtra would be mowed down. He had also instigated that each Hindu needed to have a sword in his hand and Hindu youths should be trained in operating AK 47 guns.

In his speech he had also urged the PM to give them the freedom to shoot without any FIR or arrest insinuating that they get the freedom to eliminate Muslims.
