At the Bhagwa Yatra event organized by the Hindu Jagran Manch, Sadhvi Saraswati delivered an inflammatory anti-Muslim hate speech. She demonized Muslims, falsely claimed that most prisoners in London are Muslims, and demanded they no longer be referred to as minorities, alleging they have “grabbed a huge portion of the country.” Saraswati falsely asserted that Muslims plan to demolish the Ram Mandir if Congress comes to power and demanded they hand over Mathura and Kashi. She propagated conspiracies of ‘land jihad’ and ‘love jihad,’ vilified Muslims for having “multiple children they can’t afford,” and incited violence against Muslims by urging participants to buy arms. She stated, “Forget jewellery, buy a ₹1,000 sword to defend against love jihad” and declared, “It will be a sin to not use a weapon when you are being attacked.”
