LUCKNOW: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) have tied up with a host of resident welfare associations (RWAs), traders’ associations and religious-cultural organisations across the country to amplify the enthusiasm around the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

Highly placed sources in the RSS affirmed that the “people’s participation” during ‘pran pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was gaining traction amid surging demand for ‘akshat’ (worshipped rice) and invitation.

“We are coordinating with RWAs, traders’ associations and other organisations to help in taking the message at a wider level,” a senior RSS leader said.
The RSS and the VHP are aiming to reach out to at least 10 crore families – translating into a population of around 60 crore – from January 1-15.
