A key three-day RSS meeting has begun in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu. Several top RSS leaders, including RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, key RSS functionaries including Manmohan Vaidya, Arun Kumar, Dr. Krishan Gopal and CR Mukund are present at the meeting.

As per sources, the key meeting is to revolve around RSS’ plan around its programmes for the centenary year for the organisation which will be observed in the year 2025.

As per sources, RSS will discuss the possibility to celebrate its centenary year in 2025 in Kashmir in the aftermath of abrogation of Article 370.

Apart from other programmes being planned during the three-day meeting from July 7 till July 9, the Prant Pracharaks will discuss their outreach programme undertaken in the last decade for the outfit’s expansion.

Communal Harmony Top Agenda:

Apart from other issues, the RSS functionaries will also discuss the prevailing situation in the country including communal tension in Rajasthan and other parts after the horrific murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur.

The Muslim Rashtriya Manch, under the direction of RSS leader Indresh Kumar, has planned tribute meetings for Kanhaiyalal, the tailor killed in Udaipur at various places.

It is in touch with various Muslim organisations to maintain harmony in the country. The MRM is also campaigning against radicalism, sources said.

Several Muslim clerics and organisations have been roped in to engage with the community.

Sources said nearly 50 such organisations have been identified to spread the message of peace and douse the communal fire. Religious leaders, academicians and other well-respected individuals in the Muslim community will be part of the engagement to reach out to the community for this exercise.
