JAMMU, Oct 4: To review the functioning of Sangh and its offshoot organisations besides, taking stock of prevailing situation in Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat is arriving on a three days visit to Jammu on October 13.

According to sources, Dr Bhagwat will reach here in the evening of October 13 and during his three days stay in Jammu, he will take part in various programmes of Sangh and its offshoot organisations in Jammu on October 14 and 15. He will also visit Kathua on October 15 afternoon to address a function of RSS in the Kathua town which will be attended by 4000-5000 Swayamsevaks from Kathua and Samba districts, sources added.

Sources said that the RSS chief besides, addressing Swayamsevals at the Kathua will take total feedback on the functioning of Sangh in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh. He while discussing the role of Shakhas with Sangh leaders of the UT will also stress on increasing their number further by enrolling more and more Swayamsevaks for nation building. He will also highlight the role of Shakas in social service, creating awareness and becoming a role model in the society.

Sources said that the preparations are in full swing at the RSS Headquarters, Keshaw Bhawan, Ved Mandir, Ambphalla Jammu.

Elaborate security measures have been taken at Keshaw Bhawan, Ved Mandir where RSS chief will stay and also hold close door meetings with the top functionaries of J&K Sangh and its offshoot organisations including Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrangdal, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Samaskar Bharti, Vidya Bharti, Sewa Bharti, Hindu Jagran Manch, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh , Adhivikta Parishad, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, etc. The RSS chief will have a detailed discussion on the working of these organisations and get a feedback on their performance.
