New Delhi : The coordination meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be held from September 10 to 12 in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. BJP National President JP Nadda, Organization Minister BL Santosh will also be present in this. There are assembly elections in Chhattisgarh next year and BJP has made major changes in the organization here recently. In Chhattisgarh, tribal voters play an important role in victory and defeat and the Sangh’s organization Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram has a lot of work among the tribals and Chhattisgarh is its focal point. Therefore, this time the coordination meeting to be held in Raipur is also important from this point of view.

In Chhattisgarh, about 32 percent of the total population belongs to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. There are also more than 40 different castes in it. Most of the ST population is in Bastar, Raigad and Surguja region. Of the total 90 assembly seats in the state, 29 seats are reserved for STs. However, there are more than 35 assembly seats where ST population is more than 50%. BJP is trying to get hold of them. BJP has also made changes in its organization in the state and has appointed Bilaspur MP Arun Sao as the state president.
