A Muslim teenager put a status on Aurangzeb, causing a flurry of reactions from Hindu far-right groups, who have been pressuring the panchayat to throw him & his family out of the village. The local Sarpanch from majority community has been resisting the demands. According to reports, the far-right extremists have also set fire to Sugar Sack Warehouse and a tempo owned by the Muslim family.
