Monk Vidyanand Maharaj delivered a dangerous anti-Muslim hate speech, praising Hari Singh Nalwa for oppressing Muslims. He demonized Muslims and promoted violence against them, stating, “These guys are getting too excited in Maharashtra, that’s because there hasn’t been an anti-Muslim riot here in a while.” The crowd chanted, “Desh ke gaddaro ko goli maaro salo ko,” to which the monk responded, “Stop calling them ‘gaddar,’ to be a traitor they would have to be one of us; they never were. They are just enemies of ours.”
Bajrang Dal leader Vivek Kulkarni delivered speeches laced with anti-Muslim overtones, spreading the conspiracy of ‘love jihad,’ glorifying the demolition of the Babri Masjid, and promoting the conspiracy of ‘land jihad.’
