Men beat, urinate on Dalit minor in Rajasthan’s Ajmer (The Times of India)

AJMER: A video of a group of 10-12 young men beating a minor Dalit boy, forcing him to kneel down and urinating on him in Rajasthan’s Ajmer, has gone viral, sparking outrage. The incident took place on Jan 26, but local BJP leaders stepped in after the video went viral, and requested police to act against the accused.

On Monday, the victim, a 17-year-old Class X student, accompanied by the vice-president of Ajmer BJP youth wing, Saurabh Kumar, submitted a memorandum to additional SP Mahmood Khan, who directed police to investigate the incident and act against the accused.
