Bhopal– In Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, a Dalit youth was brutally beaten and then forced to rub his nose on the accused’s feet, in a disturbing incident that has sparked outrage across social media. The video capturing this incident went viral, prompting authorities to take action. Police have registered a case against six individuals under various sections, including atrocities against Scheduled Castes.

The incident occurred on the night of February 8 when the victim, along with his friend, went to Dewas to celebrate his birthday. A dispute over a financial transaction escalated, leading to the accused, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, assaulting the Dalit youth. The assault was severe, rendering the victim unconscious.

In the viral video, the accused, identified as Shubham and his associate Raghuvanshi, are seen coercing the victim, Ramsingh, to submit to their demands. Ramsingh, with folded hands, pleads for mercy as the accused instruct him to perform humiliating acts. Despite his protests, Ramsingh is forced to comply with the demeaning orders.
