The Supreme Court on Friday (April 4, 2025) issued notice on a plea moved by the Shahi Idgah mosque management challenging an Allahabad High Court decision to consolidate suits filed by the Hindu side in the Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute.

A three-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna decided to examine the mosque committee’s petition challenging an October 2024 order of the High Court refusing to recall its earlier decision in January to consolidate the suits.
