Lucknow: The Krishna Janmabhoomi Sanrakshit Seva Trust has alleged that idols of Krishna were buried under the steps of the historic Jama Masjid in Uttar Pradesh. The district court has moved to dig to find the idol.

Notices have been sent to Intijamia, Shahi Masjid, and the Uttar Pradesh Central Waqf Board in this regard. The court said that the hearing in the case will be held on May 31.

The Hindu organisation alleged that the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb brought idols of Krishna from Mathura and buried them on the steps of the Jama Masjid after the destruction of the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple…
