The Hijab row has resurfaced in Karnataka with Hindu students from Mangalore University protesting near the college against Muslim girls who came to the classroom wearing a hijab.
The students demanded not to allow the female students inside the college, if they are wearing the headscarf.
One of the students speaking in the video says, “There was a PTA meeting where many parents complained to the management of not following the High Court verdict. However, nothing was done. Nearly 40 Muslim students have been wearing Hijab to the classroom and they are not stopped by the colleg management. That’s why we are protesting outside the campus.”
