Jamshedpur, Feb 14: On Valentine’s Day, over 50 activists from the Bajrang Dal reached Jubilee Park to drive out couples. They not only harassed some but also targeted the youths. The activists raised slogans against what they claimed to be against Indian culture but also said that the youths must give tribute to Pulwama martyrs.
“We want parks to be more available for families and not lovers involved in indecent behavior. Today is a day to remember our martyrs and not to celebrate Valentine’s Day,” said an activist. He also said that this is just a start and would run this campaign once in every month in areas like Jubilee Park, Hudco in Telco and Sir Dorabji Tata Park.
“This is a western culture which is flourishing in India but it will not be allowed to flourish here. We Sanatan Dharma followers are here to question such Hindu boys and girls not only on Valentine’s Day but every day when they see such couples in public, in order to save Hindutva,” he said.
