The State Investigation Agency of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday listed 11 properties of banned Muslim outfit Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir in Anantnag district of south Kashmir and barred it from usage.
The properties estimated at ₹90 crore were notified and subsequently confiscated by the District Magistrate, Anantnag. The assets have been notified by the District Magistrate under the draconian law, UAPA.
The agency has put up banners at the notified property restricting entry and use.
It comes after a recommendation was made to the court by the State Investigation Agency of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday.
The SIA said it has identified about 200 properties of Jamaat across Jammu and Kashmir.
