The incident of a mob forcibly entering the home of a Muslim family and seizing their fridge on the allegation of storing beef is the second communal incident that has occurred since the BJP government came to power in Odisha.
The incident happened in Odisha’s Khorda town. A video that captured the incident shows the mob taking away the fridge, with a police officer visible nearby while chanting “Jai Shri Ram.”
The family was left shocked by the sudden intrusion and unauthorized seizure. It remains unclear if any action has been taken against the perpetrators of this vigilante raid.
