New Delhi: Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) joint general secretary Surendra Jain sparked a row after he claimed that Muslims are doing ‘love jihad’ and ‘land jihad’ and are trying to convert India into an Islamic country. Further, he had also glorified the attack on namazis in Gurugram’s Bhora Kalan and even said, ‘ghar me ghus ke marenge.’
“Ghar me ghus kar marenge. Vaha police pit kar aati hai aur humare bajrangi waha peet kar aate hai. Humara sankalp hai ki yadi tum Bharat ka ek aur bantwara karoge to dhyan kr lena tumhara mukabla Bajrang Dal se hoga,” Jain said while addressing a gathering in Manesar.
Now, while speaking to Times Now, Jain said that he still stands by his words and tried to justified his speech saying he did not take law in his hands, only threatened Muslims.
Speaking to Times Now, Jain said, “I still stand by every single word that I said. I have not said anything wrong. When cows are butchered and cops go there to arrest them, they are thrashed and even a DSP rank officer was killed in Mewat. Hindu girls are abducted in broad daylight. There are FIRs against the same. Despite that, they continue to defame Hindus. What happened in Bhora Kalan? Two Muslim families came to the area around 12-13 years back and said that they would live peacefully and there was a written agreement stating that no maulvi will be brought to the area. Despite that, maulvis started coming.”
