Mangaluru: Hindu Jagaran Vedike has stated that they will protest and engage in legal battles against the externment notices issued by the govt towards their workers.
Mahesh Kadaga, the joint convener of Vedike’s South zone, told reporters on Monday that the Congress govt has been implementing repressive actions against Hindu activists and leaders. Notices of externment have been issued against Hindu activists.
“We will organize protests and pursue legal recourse in courts against the orders,” he said. Notices of externment have been issued to Vedike leaders Dinesh Panjiga, Yashodhara Balalu, Avinash Purusharakatte, and Pravesh. In the meantime, activist Akshay Rajput has already been externed, he stated and criticized the govt’s decision.
Stating that the law-and-order situation in the state has worsened after Congress came to power, he said, “Hindu activists are being assaulted by miscreants while Hindu girls are murdered brutally. Meanwhile, illegal cattle transportation, ganja mafia and other illegal activities are thriving,” he alleged. He accused police of trying to demoralise Hindu activists by booking cases unnecessarily. “Hindu Jagaran Vedike will not be demoralised by such threats. We will fight legally seeking justice,” he said.
