NEW DELHI – A Hindutva leader Satyam Pandit was arrested in Ghaziabad district on Monday after he released a video threatening violence against Muslims calling them “Bangladeshi”. Reports suggest that Pandit, who is the president of Rashtriya Hinduveer Sena, was accorded VIP treatment by the Uttar Pradesh police when he was taken into custody in the area of Sehani police station in Patelnagar where he resides.
The viral video shows Pandit warning the Muslims: “I want to warn all those Rohingya, Bangladeshi and Katwe (Circumcised) who are living with us must leave our country in 24-72 hours. Otherwise, the workers of Rashtriya Hinduveer Sena will take up sticks in their hands,” he said.
He also asked the administration to take action to chase away all these people in whatever way possible. “Otherwise, Rashtriya Hinduveer Sena will cut off the beards of these circumcised, uproot their hair and bury them in Bangladesh”.
