Sakal Hindu Samaj organized another hate-filled Hindu Janjagaran Dharmsabha. In her speech, Sadhvi Saraswati targeted Muslims, pitched for keeping swords & committing violence in the name of religion. Bharatanand Saraswati Maharaj also targeted Muslims and accused them of spreading COVID. He urged Hindus to keep weapons, threatened Kar Seva against a graveyard in Mumbra, and pitched for declaring India a Hindu nation.
Two other far-right speakers peddled conspiracy theories like “love jihad” & “land jihad” to cause a divide among communities. Another monk Muni Nilesh Chandra Maharaj said: “If Godse hadn’t shot Mahatma Gandhi in his chest, Hindus would have been praying in Mecca.”
