The ruling BJP government had taken note of Temples barring people from Dalit community from entering of late as the state government has warned the temples that the state will not take such incidents of discrimination against any devotees lightly.

A harrowing case of caste based violence has come to the fore from Karnataka’s Bangalore where a Dalit woman was brutally assaulted by the temple authorities for entering into a Hindu temple. According to reports, the victim has filed a complaint against the temple authorities at the Amruthahalli Police station.

In the video, a man donning a saffron shirt can be seen unleashing an assault on a woman while the woman was inside the temple. The man can be seen grabbing the woman by her hair and dragging her out of the temple. The woman can also be seen relentlessly trying to continue her worship.

However, the man continued to assault the woman and forced her out of the temple. The video also shows the man stopping his assault to get a stick in order to beat the woman, however, the woman after seeing the man retrieving a stick runs and hides behind a priest who stops the man in saffron shirt from hitting her.
