A Delhi Court yesterday sentenced a man to four years of rigorous imprisonment in a case concerning the 2020 North-East Delhi riots, observing that the crimes committed by him were based on “hatred and greed.”

Noora and Nabi Mohammad were convicted earlier this month in FIR 221 of 2020, registered at Police Station Khajuri Khas.

Noora was held guilty for the offences punishable under Section 148, 427, 435, 436, 149, 392 and 188 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. Nabi Mohammad was convicted under Section 411.
