New Delhi: Stepping on the Hindutva treadle before the 2024 general elections, the BJP and the RSS heavyweights are all set to attend the third edition of the World Hindu Congress (WHC) to be held in Bangkok next month. The three-day-long conclave, beginning on November 24, is themed Jayasya Aayatnam Dharmah (Dharma, the Abode of Victory).
The BJP and the RSS leaders scheduled to address the grand show include RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, his deputy and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, senior RSS leader Suresh Soni, UP chief minister and mahant of Gorakhnath Peeth Yogi Adityanath and BJP Tamil Nadu unit chief K. Annamalai.
The WHC, according to the organiser, the World Hindu Foundation, is a platform for Hindus from around the world who discuss the “challenges and opportunities facing Hindu communities across the globe and seek tangible solutions for the progress and prosperity of Hindus and the betterment of humanity and the world”.
It may be recalled that the BJP’s Hindutva blitz before the general elections will be unleashed with the proposed consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the grand temple on January 22, 2024.
