Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare, Narendra Shivaji Patel’s son, Abhigyan, was booked during the early hours of Sunday for having allegedly thrashed four people in public, including a journalist, a restaurateur couple, and one of their employees, The Times of Indiareported.

The incident took place in a prominent locality in Bhopal, and the 30-year-old BJP leader’s son allegedly attacked the victims again inside the police station when they went to file their complaint.

However, four policemen, including two officers were suspended in the incident after Abhigyan alleged that he was manhandled by the cops.

The suspension came soon after Patel, a first-time minister, went to the police station after midnight along with a group of supporters.

In the complaint against Abhigyan, the restaurateur said the couple was outside their restaurant around 8 pm when a group of people arrived in a white SUV and began beating a biker, who was identified as local journalist Vibek Singh, on the road.
