The Begusarai district in Bihar was tense following reports that two minor Muslim girls, aged 6 and 7, were allegedly raped by the son of a former Sarpanch while celebrating Holi with others.
The incident occurred while the minors were playing in a school near Panchdir Chowk in Sahebpur Kamal and were approached by the accused named Chhotu Mahato alias Raj Kumar and his friend, both of whom were reportedly drunk, according to The Siasat.com
After sexually assaulting the girls, they fled the scene, villagers alleged. The incident has caused anger among many Muslims, including the victims’ family members, who demanded that the accused be immediately arrested.
