Alok Kumar, the international working president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, claimed that the balance is being upset because Muslim populations are growing faster than those of other religions.

“The government is making efforts for this and we are satisfied with it,” Alok Kumar said while talking to reporters in Baghpat on Thursday.

He said that there is no reason for the increase in population.

“Immigration and conversion are also causes of population growth. Early marriage and high number of children among people of one religion is a sign of great danger to the society,” he said.

He said that since the Yogi government came to power in the state, infiltration has been stopped and laws against illegal conversion have been enacted in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, which have been very effective.

Kumar also said that in view of the increasing population, the government should bring a policy soon and the religions whose population growth rate is higher than the others should also reduce their rate. There should be an effort for it, there should be a law for it.
