MEERUT: Around 60 members of the Bajrang Dal were booked in Khurja area of Bulandshahr for protesting against the violence in Haryana’s Nuh, police said on Sunday.
The FIR was registered following a complaint by police sub-inspector Chhail Bihari Sharma of Khurja City police station.
He alleged that nearly 50–60 members of the Bajrang Dal protested and held a road march near the Jewar airport roundabout on August 2, interrupting traffic and raising anti-social slogans. “When we tried to stop them, they mistreated police personnel and raised slogans,” he stated.
