Sudarshan News Editor Suresh Chavanke at Hindu Janajagruti Event: Calls for ‘Temple Reclamation,’ Spreads ‘Love Jihad’ Conspiracy

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

At the event Hindu Surakshit to Rashtriya Surakshit (If Hindus Are Safe, Only Then the Nation Is Safe), organized by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Suresh Chavanke, founder and editor of Sudarshan News, propagated anti-Muslim rhetoric, fear-mongered about the Islamization of India, and spread the conspiracy of ‘love jihad.’ He demonized Muslims with the claim that they have “four wives and 40 children” and called for temple construction in Kashi and Mathura. Vishnu Shankar Jain, an advocate involved in over 100 disputed cases, including the Gyanvapi Mosque and Krishna Janmabhoomi disputes, falsely stated that proving the existence of a temple in Kashi is unnecessary, urging for land to be “taken back from illegal occupiers.” He misrepresented an ASI report on the mosque as a “judgment” and falsely asserted it confirmed a temple’s prior existence.
