Prayagraj: Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and other Hindu right-wing organisations on Monday staged a protest near Dariyabad police outpost to protest cow slaughtering.
Activists, along with locals, alleged that this was the second incident reported within three months when carcasses of dead cows were found at Dariyabad.
Cops claimed that two persons were already arrested in connection with the recovery of the carcasses and further investigations are on. Meanwhile, VHP activists demanded police higher-ups take concrete measures to check such cases. TNN
