At the Geeta Jayanti event organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad- Bajrang Dal, a Hindu monk boasted about targeting Christian institutions, claiming to have shut down 10-15 churches, filed cases against priests, and jailed 80 of them during a six-phase campaign. The monk fear mongered about a supposed religious conversion campaign targeting Adivasis and urged followers not to allow Christian missionaries to be buried in their villages.
Bajrang Dal National Convener Neeraj Doneria demanded the reclamation of all temples allegedly converted into mazars, mosques, and madrasas. Referring to the Babri Masjid as a “kalank ka dhancha” (shameful structure), he glorified its demolition by Karsevaks, stating, “In 4 hours, our brave souls erased the shameful blot on our history.”
