He compared Muslims to cancer, saying, “We have to fix the cancer spreading in Uttarakhand and Uttarkashi.” The leader spread the conspiracy of ‘love jihad’ and fear-mongered about ‘infiltration,’ targeting Muslims from Uttar Pradesh.
Bajrang Dal leader Ajay, at the Hindu Mahapanchayat organized by VHP-Bajrang Dal, issued violent threats, saying, “If someone looks at our women, we will gouge their eyes. If they touch our women, we will chop their hands.” He justified his hate for Muslims, claiming India doesn’t belong to them since they asked for partition, stating that Indian Muslims must respect Hindu women, temples, and customs or leave the country.
BJP legislator T Raja Singh, at the Hindu Mahapanchayat organized by VHP-Bajrang Dal, spread conspiracies of ‘land jihad’ and urged action against land jihadis, suggesting, “Just buy some bulldozers.” He also spread conspiracies about ‘love jihad’ and promoted violence against both land and love jihadis. Raja Singh targeted Rohingya and Bangladeshis, fear-mongering about infiltration and promoting violence against alleged infiltrators.
Lakpat Singh Bhandari, at the Hindu Mahapanchayat, urged Hindus to unite against “Jihadis” and called for boycotts of non-Hindu barbers, plumbers, and businesses near Hindu temples. He also targeted Halal meat practices, spreading conspiracies and advocating for boycotts of Halal butchers.
