Bajrang Dal leader Vikas Verma delivers anti-Muslim hate speech

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Vikas Verma, Bajrang Dal leader, made several false claims about the Muslim community at the weekly Hanuman Chalisa event. He asserted that there are very few nationalists among the 80% Sunni and 20% Shia Muslims. He referred to Muslims in Kashmir as “stone pelters” and falsely claimed that they voted for “the party that supports Pakistan,” despite the BJP government providing them with benefits and helping them. He says that they have begun removing “non-Hindu” shopkeepers, who were there to spread extremism, and thanked local traders for having vacated two such shops the previous day.
